Position Overview: Quality Engineer
The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring product quality and reliability by designing and executing rigorous testing procedures, resolving issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role emphasizes continuous improvement to guarantee products meet or exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement thorough testing plans and procedures.
Identify, investigate, and troubleshoot defects, collaborating with development teams for resolutions.
Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective measures to prevent recurring issues.
Monitor production processes and perform audits to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
Develop and maintain detailed quality documentation, including test plans, test cases, and reports.
Work with cross-functional teams to enhance product design and manufacturing processes.
Implement and manage quality control procedures to ensure product consistency and reliability.
Analyze quality metrics to identify trends and propose improvement initiatives.
Train and support team members in quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
Experience:
3–5 years of experience in quality engineering or a related role.
Deep understanding of quality control principles and methods.
Proficiency in quality management tools and software.
Expertise in statistical and root cause analysis techniques.
Skills:
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Certifications:Â Quality management certifications such as Six Sigma or ISO 9001 are preferred.
Knowledge:Â Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to quality assurance.
